Learn how to dance at Dance Elite Dance Club

Whether you want to feel comfortable gliding across the dance floor, create lasting memories with an elegant wedding dance, or simply pick up a new skill, Dance Elite Dance Club makes it easy to learn how to dance with our threefold system of teaching:

Private lessons

With a private lesson program customized to meet your goals, you'll work with an instructor to build your knowledge of foot positions, dance steps, and leading/following skills. (Note: Couples enrolled in private lessons are provided with two instructors.) Advanced ballroom dance lessons teach you the styling and technique to make your steps sizzle.

Group classes

Group classes are taught at various levels, giving you the chance to learn a new dance, practice techniques learned in your private lessons, or hone your leading/following skills.

Practice parties

Dance Elite hosts dance parties several times each month featuring a wide variety of music and dance styles. These informal social events present you with an opportunity to make new friends and put what you've learned into practice by taking a turn on the dance floor with both instructors and fellow studio members.

Throughout the year, Dance Elite also offers studio members opportunities to compete on a professional/amateur basis and to enjoy "nights on the town" with Jacksonville dancers.
